Do cats make good pets

 Some would agree and some would disagree with cats being a good pet to have. I personally am in the middle because they are more quiet animals than dogs or most animals in general and are often very sweet but can also have downfalls. You may think having a cat is amazing until you realize that your house starts smelling like cat litter and are scratching up all the furniture and walls with their long or sharp nails. A cats nails are something that should often be taken care of because if a cat goes outside and then ends up scratching you later on, all the dirt that was in or on the cats nail is now in that scratch. Animals need to be well taken care of because of all the required things to keep it safe and healthy. 

This is Oscar, a cat I use to cat sit but is sadly not here anymore. He was very sweet and loved everyone. He never tried to bite or hurt anyone but as soon as you sit down on the couch, he would jump up and lay across you.
